Hawai'i beat Fresno State, 83-73, tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center in a showdown of the Western Athletic Conference's top men's basketball teams.

Hawai'i improved to 10-2. The Bulldogs lost their fifth game in a row to fall to 8-5.

Carl English led the Rainbows with 22 points, six rebounds and five assists. Chris Jefferies led Fresno State with 21 points, nine rebounds and four steals.
