Kahana crash kills Kahuku man

A firefighter used an extinguisher on a car that hit a utility pole in Kahana yesterday morning. The driver, an 83-year-old Kahuku man, later died at Kahuku Hospital.

An 83-year-old Kahuku man died from injuries sustained when the car he was driving hit a utility pole in Kahana yesterday morning.
About 200 customers lost electric power for several hours after the car struck the pole on Trout Farm Road, near Kahana Bay.
