What life does to a person depends upon what life finds in him. The sun shines upon a piece of wax, and it soon melts. The same sun shines upon a piece of clay, and it becomes hard. The difference is not in the sun. The difference is in the makeup of the wax and the clay. What are we like — wax or clay?
