Mililani girl pitches perfect game

Mililani High School's Miki Asamura pitched a perfect game yesterday to lead the Trojans to a 1-0 softball victory over Waipahu in O'ahu Interscholastic Association action at Waipahu.
Asamura, a junior left-hander, struck out 10. She improved to 2-0 on the season.
Mililani scored in the sixth inning on Erika Au's one-out RBI single which drove in Charity Senas, who got aboard with a triple. Christal Chong went 3-for-3 and Au went 2-for-3 for the Trojans, who lead the OIA West with an 8-0 record.
Freshman Malamaisaua Manuma pitched a six-hitter for the Marauders (5-2-1).
