JOHN GLIPA, 39, of 'Ewa Beach, died June 11, 2001. Born in 'Ewa. KIYOSHI "BUTCH" HOTTA, 80, of Wailuku, Maui, died June 28, 2001. Born in Wailuku. Retired from the Board of Water Supply; a U.S. Army veteran. Survived by wife, Terry; brother, Shoma; sisters, Frances Emura and Jeanette Takara. Visitation 10 a.m. tomorrow at Nakamura Mortuary, service 11 a.m.; burial 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park. ROBERT "BOBBY" WAH HEE LOO, 78, of 'Aiea, died June 21, 2001. Born on O'ahu and raised in Honouliuli, 'Ewa and Kaimuki. A weapons inspector retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard; officiated at many OIA high school football games in the '50s and '60s. Survived by wife, Myrtle "Girlie"; son, Harvin; daughter, Sandra Loo-Chan; two grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Namaka, Carolyn Tani, Bertha Chong and Edna Tseu; brother, Carlton "Chubby." JOHN RITA, 78, of Wai'anae, formerly of Kahalu'u and Makakilo, died June 25, 2001. Born in Hana, Maui. A painter and mason retired from Honolulu Painting Co.; also a boat builder and fisherman. Survived by wife, Trinidad; sons, John Jr., Timothy, Darryl and John III; daughters, Joan DePeralta, Parsha Oliva, Cynthia Rita, Andrea DeMello, Trina Jury, June Dutro and Mary Fennell; 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Florencio "Blackie" Rita and Phillip, Rueben, Dado and Recarte Demitrial; sisters, Loretta Barques and Rosita DeLeon. Visitation from 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Makakilo, Mass 7 p.m. Visitation also from 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church, service 11 a.m.; burial 1 p.m. at Hawai'i State Veterans Cemetery. CHIYOKO MIURA SUYEOKA, 92, of Mililani, eldest daughter of the founder of M. Miura Store in Kapa'a, Kaua'i, died June 28, 2001. A teacher at Pu'uhale and Kuhio schools on O'ahu and in Lihu'e, Kapa'a and Anahola on Kaua'i. Survived by daughters, Mildred McAuley and Marian Frazier; a grandson; sisters, Masako Ishii, Hatsue Masaoka and Satoko Masamura; brothers, Dr. Donald Miura and Dr. David Miura. Service 2 p.m. today at Manoa Japanese Seventh-day Adventist Church. No flowers. Aloha attire. Burial of ashes 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kane'ohe. SIONE FIEILO TAULEPA, 59, of Honolulu, died June 26, 2001. Born in Tonga.
