Fun House
Little boy in favor of having lunch

By Linda Quisen

We still laugh about this as we remember.

One day, as the six children in my childcare home lay on their quilts to take a nap, I said, "Today, for lunch we will have ..."

And Lenny, 2, interrupted with, "Lunch, I like lunch, I like lunch."

Certainly doesn't matter to him what we will have, as long as we have lunch!

— Linda Quisen, Wahiawa, a childcare provider for 16 years
