Service set Tuesday for Ike Sutton

A service for politician Richard "Ike" Sutton, 86, who died June 30, 2001, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Cathedral.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., with burial at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Casual attire is requested.

Moanalua Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

A colorful politician and a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Sutton introduced sign-waving to campaigning in Hawai'i.

He is survived by wife, Anne; sons, Richard Jr. and Warner "Kimo"; daughters, Linda Kemp and Beverly Toomey; and four grandchildren.
