Molokai man wounded

'OHI'A, Moloka'i — A 48-year-old 'Ohi'a man was in stable condition after an accidental shooting yesterday at his East Moloka'i home.

Albert Kalawe Sr. was taken to Moloka'i General Hospital after a .22-caliber rifle being handled by his son, 15, accidentally discharged at about 6:15 a.m.

The round entered Kalawe's left shoulder from the rear and lodged outside his rib cage, police said.
