MAE BLEAKIE BOETTCHER, 88, matriarch of the family that donated their five-acre Kailua estate to the state park system, land that eventually became Kalama Beach Park, died June 17, 2001. She was a Denver philanthropist and the longest tenured trustee of the Boettcher Foundation. Since 1980 she resided in Colorado with her longtime companion, Edith Wang. Mainland service held.
