Gina Akemi Bogden and Edward Kealii Nui Wong were married on March 31 at Fantasy Island Hotel, Kualoa. The reception followed at Secret Island in Kualoa. The bride, now Gina Akemi Wong, is a registered nurse. The groom is a plumber. They live in 'Ewa Beach.

Lourdes Saludes Madriaga, daughter of Afelina Saludes Madriaga of Waipahu and the late Daniel Monte Madriaga, and Dean Dino Smith I, son of Louise Ku'ulei Smith of 'Ewa Beach and the late John Rice Smith Jr., were married on May 26 at Ka Makua Mau Loa Church in Honolulu. The reception followed at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The bride (1988 Waipahu High, 1989 Cannon's Business College, travel industry diploma), now Lourdes Madriaga Smith, is a reservation service agent. The groom (1984 Campbell High) is a sales manager. They have three children — Demi Smith, 11; Chassidy Nee, 7; and Dean Smith II, 2 — and they live in 'Ewa Beach.
