Military Calendar

• Tropic Lightning Re-enlistment Week, designated by Maj. Gen. James M. Dubik, commanding general, 25th Infantry Division (Light) and U.S. Army, Hawai'i.

Today: Opening remarks by Dubik, 9 a.m.; re-enlistment-related training commences, 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday-Thursday: Department of the Army's Mobile Retention Training Team from the USA Soldier Support Institute conducts training, Nehelani Club, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Friday: Total Army Retention Program briefing, 9:30 a.m.; Commanding General's Excellence in Retention Awards, 10:50 a.m.

Intramural Cross Country 10K Fun Run around Ford Island; free to active duty, reservists, military retirees, their family members and DoD civilians affiliated with Navy sites; 8:30 a.m. start. Entry deadline is Wednesday; turn in entry forms at Naval Station Athletic Office (Bldg. 667). 473-2494.
