• A reception for Karen Kiefer's art show, "Not just Another Pretty Face," takes place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Pauahi Tower second-floor exhibit space in downtown Honolulu. Due to a clerk's error, Sunday's art calendar had incorrect information.

• The Coconut Plantation is a residential community in Ko Olina being developed by Brookfield Homes. The name was incorrect in a story Thursday.

• A special Honolulu City Council election is called when a vacancy occurs in an office and at least one year remains in that "term of office." A column Sunday incorrectly described the triggering mechanism for the special election that may be held to fill Andy Mirikitani's seat.
