The Waipahu resident and Sydney Olympian has been sidelined since breaking a bone in his right hand in his pro debut May 15 at the Hawai'i Convention Center.
Brian Viloria will be fighting for the first time since May 15.
Viloria sustained the injury after punching Ben Jun Escobia in the head late in the second round of a unanimous decision victory, and underwent surgery May 25.
Viloria's manager, Gary Gittelsohn, said the fighter will meet a yet to be determined opponent in a scheduled four-round bout.
"Brian has been progressing beautifully and the doctor has taken out the pins and removed the splint," Gittelsohn said. "He's ready to resume all aspects of his training except with the right hand. The doctor expects Brian to get back to 100 percent pretty soon."
Gittelsohn said Viloria, who has been working out and weighs 118 pounds, won't be allowed to hit in workouts until Aug. 15 and will, initially, wear gel pads to protect the hand.
An ESPN spokesman said the card will be televised beginning at about 3 p.m., Hawai'i time.
The shows have averaged an audience of approximately 580,000 households, ESPN said.
