NAGOYA, Japan Hawai'i yokozuna (grand champion) Musashimaru was thrown to the ground by komusubi Wakanosato today and dropped into a first-place tie with ozeki Kaio at the July Grand Sumo Tournament in Nagoya, Japan.
Musashimaru and Kaio are 10-1. Kaio used an arm-throw technique to toss down Tamanoshima, who fell to 9-2.
Ozeki Chiyotaikai, No. 7 maegashira Tamanoshima and Wakano-sato are 9-2.
Two wrestlers are at 8-3.
