Honolulu law firms to combine services

Two Honolulu law firms are merging in an effort to combine and broaden services.
Dwyer, Schraff & Meyer and Jossem & Toyofuku will merge effective Aug. 1. The new firm will be called Dwyer, Schraff, Meyer, Jossem & Bushnell.
"In this day and age of consolidation in many areas, we see this as an opportunity to offer a broader range of services to each other's present clients," Jack Dwyer said in a statement.
The Dwyer firm specializes in transactions, real estate, intellectual property and commercial litigation.
"Joining the Dwyer, Schraff & Meyer firm provides our clients with a broader base of support, especially for handling large and complex matters," said Jared Jossem.
The Jossem firm specializes in labor and employment law and related litigation.
The eight principals of the new firm are Dwyer, Paul Schraff, William Meyer III, Jossem, Ronald Grant, Blake Bushnell, Adelbert Green and Lynne Toyofuku.
