Vonnie Lyons service planned

KEAUHOU, KONA, Hawai'i — A memorial service for Vonnie Lyons will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Keauhou Yacht Club.

Lyons, 71, a longtime figure in Kona tourism and community affairs, died July 16 of pancreatic cancer. She was the widow of former Honolulu Advertiser cartoonist Harry Lyons.
