FRANCIS C. DUPONT, 79, of Kane'ohe, died July 26, 2001. An electrical supervisor retired from the State of Hawai'i. Survived by wife, Madeline; son, Allan; daughter, Kathleen; sisters, Rachel Bailey and Norma Jankowski. Visitation 6:30 p.m. Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service 7 p.m. Cremation to follow. Graveside service over the ashes 3 p.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire.

BILL GREENOUGH, 54, of Lahaina, died July 26, 2001. Born in Fairfield, Calif. The supervisor of Pacific Gas and Electric Company. A member of the Shriners, Masonic Lodge, Lahaina Yacht Club and on the board of directors of Kahana Reef. Survived by wife, Stephanie; son, Shane; stepson, Cramer Beller; stepdaughter, Tanya Beller; a granddaughter. Private family service to be held. No flowers. SHIRO HATAKEYAMA, 94, of Honolulu, died July 4, 2001. Born in Ehime, Japan. Survived by a niece and nephews. Private service held. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.

AUSTIN HERBERT GREEN, 93, of Kihei, Maui, died July 22, 2001. Born in Battle Creek, Mich. A self-employed radio and television personality. Served with the U.S. Marine Corps and a commissioned colonel in the U.S. Air Force. A member of Rotary International-Kihei Sunrise Club, the Screen Actors Guild and the Academy of Magical Arts. Survived by wife, Martha; son, Austin Jr.; and daughter, Virginia Lay. Memorial service 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at Keawalai Congregational Church. No flowers. EDNA FUSA HOPE, 96, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died July 24, 2001. Born in Lihu'e, Kaua'i. A homemaker. Survived by son, George; daughters, Edna McIntosh and Corrine Watanabe; sister, Hana Mizutani; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Service held.

RANDOLPH KUUIPO PATRICK "UNCLE IPO" KAPOWAI, 62, of Honolulu, died July 25, 2001. A resident of Nanakuli. A retired fire captain with the Honolulu Fire Department. Survived by wife, Ailynne; daughter, Karen Kahoohanohano; sons, Randolph Jr. and Hans Otto; sisters, Victoria Ku, Sinclaire Kahumoku and Lucille Baker; seven grandchildren.
