Deadline for letters extended

We're extending the deadline to Aug. 7 for you to send 'Ohana your letters about the pros and cons of living with several generations under one roof.

In Hawai'i, where the cost of living is high, having three or more generations in a single house is a common reality. Please tell us: What are the pluses to living this way — teamwork, perhaps a special bond? And what are the drawbacks? Less privacy? Less room? Finally, what ways has your family found to cope with the challenges? Write: Full House, 'Ohana section, The Honolulu Advertiser, P.O. Box 3110, Honolulu, HI 96802, e-mail ohana@honoluluadvertiser.com or fax 535-8170. Include your name, city and daytime telephone number.
