Free concert at Kuhio Beach today

Tube Day 2001, organized by and featuring Tube, a Japanese band, will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Kuhio Beach, in the area across from the Honolulu Zoo.

Besides Tube, the event will feature a host of Island acts, including DisGuyz, Anelaikalani, Colon, Joy, Herb Ohta Jr. and Keoki Kahumoku, Glenn Medeiros, and Roy Sakuma's 'ukulele kids. Tiny Tadani will emcee. Admission is free.
