Advertiser Staff
The Burger King restaurant at downtown Honolulu's Fort Street Mall will close at the end of this month, its owners said today.
Cimm's Inc. of Glendale, Calif., said in a filing with the state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations that the 26 employees would not be laid off when its subsidiary, Hawaii Cimm's Inc. shuts down, on or after May 31. They will be transferred to other Burger King locations, a spokesman said.
The Fort Street Mall location is one of 22 the company operates on O'ahu.
