Student arrested in shooting threat

Advertiser Staff

Police yesterday arrested a Washington Intermediate student after he allegedly threatened to shoot someone if he didn't graduate.

Police said the 15-year-old boy became upset with his teacher and threatened to shoot because he thought he wouldn't finish school.

The incident was reported to the police and the student was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

He was later released pending further investigation of the case.
