Fort Street eatery closes

Advertiser Staff

The Burger King restaurant at downtown Honolulu's Fort Street Mall closed permanently last week, its owners said yesterday.

The 26 employees at the fast-food shop will be transferred to other Burger King restaurants, according to a spokesman for Cimm's Inc. of Glendale, Calif. The spokesman declined to say why the Fort Street Mall restaurant, one of 22 Burger Kings on O'ahu operated by Cimm's, was shut down.
