Advertiser Staff

The University of Hawai'i co-ed sailing team finished last in the six-school championship division of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association/Ronstan North American Team Racing Championships on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass.

The Rainbows won one of five races in yesterday's final round to finish the three-day event with a 9-12 record.

Georgetown won the championship with an 18-3 record, followed by Harvard (16-5), Dartmouth (15-6), Charleston (12-9) and Old Dominion (11-10).

The University of California-Santa Barbara won the consolation division with a 15-6 record.

The event was the second of three Intercollegiate Sailing Association spring championships. UH won the North American Women's National Championship last week. The final event — the North American Dinghy Championship — starts today in Rhode Island.
