Following the recent appointment of Aloha Festivals managers for the islands of O'ahu and Kaua'i, the annual statewide celebration has announced managers for the Big Island and Maui:
ALBERT ESTABILIO has been named manager of the Big Island Aloha Festivals celebration. Estabilio is also general manager of the Castle Resorts and Hotels' Waimea Country Lodge.
LYDEE RITCHIE and MYRNA AH HEE have been named co-managers for Maui festivities, which begin with investiture Aug. 26.
Named earlier were GAIL "MOANA" YEE and WALLIS J.K. PïNUA as heads of the festival's events on O'ahu and Kaua'i, respectively.
Dr. Rebecca Rhoades has been named executive director of the Kaua'i Humane Society, after having filled the position temporarily since January.
Frederick "Rick" Ahn has been named athletic director for The Honolulu Club, overseeing 70 of the facility's 100-plus employees.
Eric Tom has been named executive vice president of Pihana Pacific. Based in Pihana's San Francisco regional office, Tom will be responsible for directing company distribution strategies and business development activities.
NANCY PACE has been named director of institutional advancement and alumnae relations for St. Andrew's Priory School.
CANDY BERRY, 20-year veteran of retail management work at Times Supermarkets, has been named regional manager of The Poi Company, the Kalihi-based manufacturer of poi and poi products. Also named at the company were JOEL COSSEBOOM and DAN SCHAT, financial director and sales executive respectively. Schat is former company production manager.
ART GLADSTONE has been named vice president for hospital operations at Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi.
LISA YIM has been named front-desk manager for the Renaissance 'Ilikai Waikiki hotel, overseeing front-desk operations, revenue, employee training and development. She was most recently assistant hotel manager for the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco, and has worked for the Kahala Mandarin Oriental and Waikiki Parc hotels.
