Survived by wife, Peggy; sons, Claude and Russell; daughters, Peggy Higa and Sandra Kutaka; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Amy Fujita and June Tanimoto. Memorial service 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Mililani Memorial Park Mortuary, mauka chapel. No flowers. Casual attire.

MURIEL SYKES "YORK" GERLACH, 89, died June 5, 2001. Born in Manchester, England. Author of poems and children's stories. Survived by daughters, Valerie Davis and Muriel. Private service. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.

TOMOYUKI KAWASHIMA, 95, of 'Aiea, died June 3, 2001. Born in Waipahu. Retired owner of Leeward Auto Parts. Survived by sons, Thomas and James; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. Private memorial service held. Arrangements by Mililani Memorial Park Mortuary.

DAISHICHI "HENRY" KOGA, 86, of Honolulu, died May 30, 2001. Retired C.S. Wo furniture company cabinet-maker foreman. AGUSTIN "TINO" ECLIPSE MATUTINO SR., 79, of Waialua, died June 6, 2001. Born in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Survived by wife, Concepcion "Shirley"; sons, Henry, Peter, Agustin Jr. and Benjamin; daughters, Naomi Matutino-Calpito, Catherine "Elsa" Aldueso and Sharon; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
