Head of FBI's Honolulu office to retire

Myron Fuller, special agent in charge of the FBI Honolulu office, will retire today after 30 years of service.

Fuller began his career with the FBI in 1971and was assigned to the Chicago field office. He also served in New York, New Orleans, Dallas and Salt Lake City.

In August 1997, Fuller was named to head the Honolulu office, which also has jurisdiction in Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands.

During his career, Fuller was recognized for his development and implementation of strategic operations and techniques that targeted while collar crime and organized crime and terrorist groups.

Fuller is a certified fraud examiner and member of Rotary International, Pacific Asian Affairs Council, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Fuller said he will remain in Honolulu after retiring.

Named to replace Fuller is Daniel Dzwilewski, who serves as a special assistant to the deputy director, FBI headquarters.
