"Intimate Portrait: Calista Flockhart," 7 p.m., Lifetime. When this series started it seemed to be a mere shadow of "Biography." It starts its sixth season tonight with Flockhart, the "Ally McBeal" star and perhaps the first person in Hollywood who had to make public statements that she's eating fine, thanks.

"The Gun Deadlock," 8 p.m., Lifetime. Here's a documentary viewing the complex gun-law controversies. That includes people who say a loved one died because they did or didn't have a gun.

"Ally McBeal," 8 p.m., Fox. After watching the Flockhart profile you might want to watch her at work. This rerun has her fuming because a client fired someone based on looks; also, Chubby Checker guest stars.

"Third Watch," 9 p.m., NBC. Jack Klugman guests in this rerun, as an old man who shocks Sully (his former neighbor) by attempting suicide. Also, Doherty has a fling at this bachelor party.

"What's My 20?" 4 p.m., VH1. This is the debut of a series that has viewers decide top-20 lists. That starts with power ballads topped by Bon Jovi's "Always," Journey's "Open Arms" and Aerosmith's "Dream On."
