Matson names new CFO

Advertiser Staff

Matson Navigation Co. has a new chief financial officer. Matthew J. Cox, 40, will replace Raymond J. Donohue, 65, who is retiring.

Cox, chief operating officer for Distribution Dynamics Inc. of Danville, Calif., also worked for 12 years at American President Lines, where he oversaw operations for 26 countries in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

Donohue joined Matson in 1980 as chief financial officer, and held that post longer than anyone in the company's 119-year history.
