Matson gets new CFO

Matson Navigation Co. has a new chief financial officer. Matthew J. Cox, 40, will replace Raymond J. Donohue, 65, who is retiring.

Cox, chief operating officer for Distribution Dynamics Inc. of Dan-

ville, Calif., also worked for 12 years at American President Lines.

Donohue joined Matson in 1980 as chief financial officer and held the post long-

er than anyone else in the company's 119-year history.
