Dropkick Murphys, an Irish American punk-rock band that started as a quartet but has grown into a septet, will perform at 7 p.m. July 21 at the World Cafe, 1130 N. Nimitz Hwy.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; all ages are welcome.

The Mainland-based group includes Al Barr, lead vocals; Ken Casey, lead vocals and bass; Matt Kelly, drums; James Lynch, guitar and vocals; Mark Orrell, guitar, accordion and vocals; Spicy McHaggis, bagpipes and tin whistles; and Ryan Foltz, mandolin and tin whistles.

Its latest CD, "Sing Loud, Sing Proud," connects the dots on the lineage of the group's punk origins and folk status, with a hearty guitar firepower blending with acoustic instruments.

Also on the bill: The Sticklers and Buckshot Shorty.

Tickets: $16.50 in advance, $17 at the door, on sale starting tomorrow, at Ticket Plus outlets, including Tower Records Kahala and Pearl Kai, Tower Video Kapi'olani, Jelly's Puck's Alley and Pearl Kai, Hungry Ear Kailua, Schofield ITR, Pearl Harbor Bloch Arena, ITT Kane'ohe MCBH, Foodland and Sack'N Save stores, House of Music, Tempo Music and the University of Hawai'i Campus Center.
