Orchid at Mauna Lani sets youth tennis camps

A junior tennis development camp for youngsters ages 8-16 will be held throughout the summer at the Tennis Pavilion at The Orchid at Mauna Lani.

There will be four five-day sessions for all levels of players. Registration is limited to the first eight players who sign up for each classification.

The first camp will be July 22-28 for beginners and low intermediate-level players. Another camp for beginners and low intermediate players will be offered from Aug. 5-11.

Intermediate and advanced players will have their camp from July 29-Aug. 4, and another from Aug. 12-18.

Kris Jordan, the professional at The Orchid at Mauna Lani, will be leading the camp along with Brian Harrison. Jordan and Harrison were teammates on the nationally ranked men's team at the University of Hawai'i-Hilo.
