Irons brothers second, third in OP Pro surf: Brothers Andy and Bruce Irons of Kaua'i finished second and third, respectively, in the OP Pro surfing contest, which was completed yesterday in 5-foot waves off the Mentawai Islands, Indonesia.

Australian Mark Occhilupo won the contest for the second consecutive year. He defeated Andy Irons in the final to earn the winner-take-all $30,000 prize.

The Irons brothers rode through several barreling waves, but Occhilupo's precise carving maneuvers on the open sections provided the difference.

After the final, all six of the invited surfers participated in an "expression session." Shane Dorian of Kailua-Kona won $3,300 for the best barrel ride; Bruce Irons earned $3,300 for best aerial maneuver.
