• Hawaiian Electric Company believes the typical small photovoltaic system Hawai'i homeowners might buy to generate electricity at home will not produce more than the customer will use in a month. Because of a reporter's error, a different statement was published Monday.

• The fireworks for Kailua's July Fourth celebration will be launched from a barge near Popoi'a Island, also known as Flat Island, beginning at 8 p.m. Based on information provided by the source, a story yesterday stated a different starting time and did not make clear the location of the launch.

• Employees of the two outpatient pharmacies at St. Francis Medical Center facilities are expected to be retained by Value Drugs Ltd., the company that St. Francis Healthcare System has selected to take over its pharmacy operations. Because of a reporter's error, information about the transition was incorrect yesterday.

• Professors from Harvard Business School and Miami University in Ohio have been appointed to endowed professorships at the University of Hawai'i Manoa — College of Business Administration. Robert J. Robinson has been designated the Barry and Virginia Weinman Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship and E-Business. Michael H. Morris was named Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Information Technology, occupying a chair financed by an anonymous couple. Their appointments were incomplete in a story Saturday.
