Flamboyant promoter KIMO WILDER McVAY, who died of cancer at age 73 earlier in the morning at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center. See story.

RALPH DUNPHY JR., 71, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died June 27, 2001. Born in Houlton, Maine. A retired Merchant Marine electrical engineer. Survived by wife, Marlene; son, Allan; daughter, Diane.
