8 a.m.: Morning session convenes. The following personnel are scheduled to provide testimony:

  • Diving Officer of the Watch, Chief Petty Officer Streyle, a machinist mate.
  • Chief of the Watch, Petty Officer 1st Class Harris, a machinist mate.
  • Helmsman, Petty Officer 2nd Class Feddeler, a storekeeper.
  • Stern Planesman, Seaman Ramirez, a yeoman.
  • Officer of the Deck (OOD) for the Search and Rescue (SAR) team, Lt. Cmdr. Tyler Meador.
  • Communications operator for the SAR team, Senior Chief Petty Officer Smith.
  • Chief of the Boat (COB), Master Chief Douglas Coffman.
  • Lt. William Christopher Pritchett.
  • Petty Officer 2nd Class Quinn, a yeoman.
  • Sonar Division Officer, Lt. Mahoney.

1 p.m.: Afternoon session convenes; testimonies to continue.

4:30 p.m.: Afternoon session adjourns until tomorrow morning. End-of-day review with question-and-answer period at Media Center, following adjournment of session.
