There are nine nationally ranked teams in the tournament, but the Wahine's pool is the only one with just one.

Today, in Pool A, UH will play No. 13 Washington and New Mexico State. Tomorrow, the Wahine face Texas to end pool play.

The other pools have at least two ranked teams. Ranked teams in the tournament are No. 2 Arizona and No. 24 Cal State-Northridge in Pool B; No. 9 Arizona State, No. 10 Cal State-Fullerton and No. 11 DePaul in Pool C; and No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 7 Fresno State and No. 14 Notre Dame in Pool D.
