Jones' memory otherwise appears to be intact, said two sources familiar with his recovery. He has asked about the ongoing spring football practice and UH's participation in the NCAA basketball tournament.
June Jones is recovering after a single-car crash on H-1.
Jones sustained head and internal injuries in the one-car crash on the H-1 Freeway near the Honolulu International Airport.
He was released from The Queen's Medical Center on Tuesday night. He has not been available to the media since the accident.
But the sources said when family members asked him about the events leading to the accident, Jones told them he had no recollection of the day.
Jones' Lincoln Town Car veered 70 feet off the freeway and struck a concrete pillar.
Police said he was not speeding.
