China Airlines to end Isle flight

China Airlines will end its non-stop flights between Taiwan and Honolulu on May 1, an executive said yesterday, citing lagging demand and better markets elsewhere.
China's largest international airline runs three non-stop flights a week between Taipei and Honolulu, Vincent Lam said.
It uses an MD-11 that carries about 300 people. That aircraft will be used on other routes in China, he said, and also to Europe.
