JOHN LLOYD STEGMAIER, 85, father of former State Representative David Stegmaier, died March 10, 2001. He was in the Foreign Service for 21 years and was the proprietor of consulting firm East-West Associated, Inc. In later years he became an advocate for the mentally ill. Survived by wife, Daphne; son, David; daughters, Cynthia Peterson, Gail Arias and Louisa Stegmaier; five grandchildren. Mainland service to be held. No flowers.
