Next Generation Dinner featuring a four-course prix fixe menu by sous chef Wade Ueoka at Alan Wong's Restaurant. $65 per person, $80 with wines. 949-2526.

Noodlefest, featuring noodle dishes representing Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam at the Plumeria Beach Cafe buffet at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental, Hawai'i. The noodle buffet, including beer sampling, is $41.50 per person, $20.75 for children 5-12, plus tax and tip. Also on Friday. 739-8760.

The Jabberwocks, a choral group from Brown University, will be the featured entertainment at two special dinners. On March 28, Cacada at the Royal Garden at Waikiki Hotel will feature a four-course dinner by chef Armen Abero, paired with wines from Buehler Vineyards at 7 p.m., followed by the concert. $85 per person; 441-7409.
