Tube Notes

MUST-SEE: Basketball, 4:30 p.m., CBS: The college field is down to 16 teams, which means all the weekday games can be at night. Today and Friday, CBS has two doubleheaders with games varying by region.

MUST-SEE 2: "Mystery," 9 p.m., PBS: Here's a new chance to see the two-week, three-hour film that launched "Second Sight." At the core is a tough young police detective (Clive Owen), who is hiding the fact that he's going blind. Discovering his secret is a newcomer (Claire Skinner), an icily ambitious blonde. They form a mismatched partnership. There's more on the way. Beginning April 5, "Mystery" will have six weeks of new "Second Sight" hours.

"Spawn," 7 p.m., Fox (1997). Michael Jai White, best known for playing Mike Tyson on HBO, stars in this adaptation of a comic book.

"Gilmore Girls," 7 p.m., WB, seen on KFVE. Emily panics because her mother-in-law (Marion Ross of

"Happy Days") is coming for a visit.

"Misery" (1990), 7 p.m., A&E: Director Rob Reiner has had great success with Stephen King tales. This one has an injured author (James Caan) and his intense fan - played with Oscar-winning gusto by Kathy Bates.
