Corrections

If you have a question or concern about the accuracy, fairness or thoroughness of an item in The Honolulu Advertiser, please call Reader Representative John Simonds at 525-8033.

• The commemorative bottles of seawater the crew of the USS Greeneville gave to its civilian guests Feb. 9 did not note the depth at which the water had been collected. Because of an editor's error, a Local News story posted yesterday included incorrect information.

• A chart on the 2000 Census, published in the Corrections section of yesterday's Advertiser, contained incorrect information. Under the 1990 Census heading, the number in the black or African American category should have read 27,195. In the Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander category, the number should have read 162,269.
