COLLEEN McCORRISTON BARTRON, 65, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died March 11, 2001. Survived by husband, Don Sr.; sons, Michael McCorriston and Edward Smith; daughter, Susan Smith; sister, Martha Ann Rice. Memorial service were yesterday at Punahou School chapel, followed by celebration of life with no-host meal at Hee Hing Restaurant, 449 Kapahulu Ave. Casual attire. WILLIAM CARVEIRO, 86, of Kalaheo, Kaua'i, died March 19, 2001. Born in California. A truck driver for the sugar industry with Kauai Commercial. Survived by sons, Edward and Charles Carveiro; daughter, Janet Carveiro, Isabelle Tavares and Mary Ann Vander; sisters, Helen Carters and Eleanor Blauser; 10 grandchildren. EDWARD "BUTCHIE" GABRIEL CHU, 56, of Makakilo, died March 15, 2001. Born in Honolulu. LORRAINE YOSHIKO HAMAMURA, 85, of Kaua'i, died March 20, 2001. Born in Kohala, Hawai'i. Retired seamstress.
