Three-way tie for sumo lead

Yokozuna (grand champion) Takanohana threw down Kaio today, handing the ozeki (champion) his second straight loss heading into the final day of the 15-day Spring Grand Sumo Tournament at Osaka, Japan.

The loss dropped Kaio into a three-way tie for the lead with Takanohana and ozeki Musoyama at 12-2. Yokozuna Musashimaru won to improve to 11-3.
