'Accelerate TV' airs another episode tonight

By Elizabeth Kieszkowski
Assistant City Editor

A fourth segment of "Accelerate TV," a homegrown music-video program that airs on 'Olelo, can be seen on late-night television this week. Video deejay Snipe Dog and his crew will present music videos from such international acts as Fat Boy Slim, Morcheba, Les Rhythms Digitales and the Chemical Brothers, with local patter in between.

"Accelerate TV" is in the Salt Lake studios of 'Olelo. The program features electronica, alterna-metal, industrial punk and other underground music, and is modeled, in part, on a Chicago public-access music program.

See "Accelerate TV," episode four, at midnight tonight, Wednesday and Thursday on 'Olelo's O'ahu Channel, Oceanic channel 52. To check 'Olelo program schedules, go to www.olelo.org. To join the "Accelerate TV" e-mail alert list, send a message to sniperwells@earthlink.com.
