Culinary Calendar

Today

Wine dinner and show featuring the Jabberwocks, the choral group from Brown University, 7 p.m. at Cascada at the Royal Garden at Waikiki Hotel. Chef Armen Abero will prepare a four-course meal paired with wines from Buehler Vineyards. $85 per person. 441-7409.

Tomorrow

The Jabberwocks will perform at 3660 on the Rise restaurant; dinner and show reservations from 6:30 p.m. A special dinner has been planned featuring roast prime rib of beef. $35 per person plus tax and tip for dinner and show; 3660 Wai'alae Ave. 737-1177.

Saturday

"The Best Pies by Farr for Any Occasion," a cooking class on making pies with Charlie Farr, 9:30-11:45 a.m. at Lyon Arboretum; $22 per person; 988-0456.

"Wine and Asian-influenced Food Pairing," a cooking class with executive chef Elmer Guzman, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sam Choy's Diamond Head Restaurant. Sponsored by Kapi'olani Community College; $30 fee. 734-9211.

April 4: Clambake Buffet Dinner, 5-10 p.m. at Sam Choy's Breakfast, Lunch and Crab. Boston-raised executive chef Mike Longworth creates an East Coast-style clambake, "the equivalent of a Hawaiian hukilau." Clams, crab, shrimp, mussells, oysters, sausages, salads, Boston cream and lemon meringue pie are among the featured dishes. $24.95 per person plus tax and tip. 545-7979.
