MUST-SEE: "My Wife and Kids" premiere, 7 p.m., ABC: In this situation comedy, likeable people grope at their lives without expecting perfection. Damon Wayans stars as a guy whose trucking company is thriving, and his wife (Tisha Campbell-Martin) is busy with her own career.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 7 p.m., CBS, and "Some of My Best Friends," 7:30 p.m., CBS: CBS' schedule returns to normal after basketball and a transplanted "Survivor." Now it wants sitcom viewers back. First is a terrific rerun in which Ray learns his mom has read his journal. Then comes a new "Some of My Best Friends."

"Live From Lincoln Center," 8 p.m., PBS: For more than a century, Puccini's "La Boheme" has been popular; now comes a New York City Opera version of young artists struggling in the city.

"The Drew Carey Show," 8 p.m., ABC: This is the annual April Fools' Day (almost) episode. Viewers are supposed to spot the mistakes.

"Boot Camp" premiere, 8 p.m., Fox: Another blast of military-style survival. This starts with 16 people; each week, one person will be voted out, then take another along.
