Kamehameha hands Mid-Pacific first baseball loss

Hubert Pruett pitched a four-hitter and struck out eight as Kamehameha defeated Mid-Pacific, 5-3, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball game last night at Ala Wai Field.

Tyler Perkins doubled, tripled and scored three runs for the Warriors (2-3), who handed the Owls (4-1) their first loss of the season.

Matthew Inouye batted 2-for-3 to lead Mid-Pacific.
