Aloha adds Orange County flights

Aloha Airlines today began service to Orange County, providing the Southern California community with its first direct flight to the Islands.
Flight 481, Aloha's newest non-stop transpacific flight, departs John Wayne Airport daily at 10 a.m. and arrives in Honolulu at 12:47 p.m. Flight 482 departs Honolulu daily at 11:25 a.m. and arrives in Orange County, Calif., at 7:36 p.m.
On June 1, Aloha will add a second daily non-stop flight between Orange County and Kahului, Maui.
In addition to the daily non-stop Orange County-Hawai'i service, Aloha Airlines also launched daily service between John Wayne Airport and Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport.
Aloha's daily Orange County-Las Vegas service is an 8 a.m. flight from Las Vegas to John Wayne Airport and an evening flight that departs John Wayne Airport for Las Vegas at 8:30.
A year ago, the carrier began twice daily service between Hawai'i and the San Francisco Bay Area via Oakland International Airport. On April 5, Aloha added a third direct flight between Oakland and Kona on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
