Share your memories of Pearl Harbor attack
"Pearl Harbor," touted as this summer's blockbuster movie, opens May 25. But for those who lived through the Dec. 7, 1941 bombing, no movie is needed to jog the memory.
We'd like to hear from local folks who recall that day watching airplanes fly past, hearing the news on the radio, getting caught up in the rumor mill, on O'ahu or elsewhere in the Islands. On May 20, we'll run excerpts from the letters we receive.
Tell us what you saw and heard, how you felt, what you did, restricting the story to the events of Dec. 7.
